Declared, verifiable binding between a designed surface and its canonical design source (tokens/design system) in ring-0. The binding is a governed artifact: surfaces resolve values exclusively from the bound source, and divergence (same token names carrying values from another source) is a detectable drift class enforced by a validator, never an editorial detail.
